AIOAzip Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

1. Summary

AIOAzip is a compression and extraction app for macOS made by Chongqing Hongchuangda Technology Co., Ltd. We do not collect, store, sell or share any of your personal information. This policy covers the AIOAzip app, including its window interface, Finder services, the built-in command line (--cli) and the MCP server (--mcp).

2. No network access, no data collection

AIOAzip runs in the macOS App Sandbox without the network entitlement, so it cannot send data to any server. The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash reporting or third-party SDKs, does not track you across apps, and has no accounts.

3. Your files stay on your Mac

Archives and files you open, extract, test or create are read and written only on your Mac. Archive parsing runs in a separate sandboxed helper process. Passwords you enter are used only for the current task, kept in memory, never written to disk, and discarded when the task completes or is removed, or the app quits.

4. Settings stored on your Mac

The app stores a few settings on your Mac, such as the default archive format, whether to show the menu bar icon, how to handle existing files, and the folders you have granted access to (kept as macOS security-scoped bookmarks inside the app's sandbox container so the app can use those locations without asking again). This data never leaves your device. You can remove a grant at any time in Settings › File Access; deleting the app deletes this data.

5. Command line and AI assistants

If you configure a shell alias or an MCP client such as an AI assistant to call AIOAzip, AIOAzip itself still processes files only on your Mac and does not connect to the network. How your AI assistant or other software handles information it receives is governed by that software's provider and privacy policy.

6. Children

AIOAzip collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Services provided by Apple

If you install AIOAzip from the Mac App Store or TestFlight, downloads, updates, beta feedback and crash reports (if you choose to share them) are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we only see the aggregated information Apple provides to developers.

8. Changes and contact

If the way the app handles information changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions about this policy: Chongqing Hongchuangda Technology Co., Ltd., support@cqagc.com. Security reports: security@cqagc.com.
